Mise-en-scene

 1)the use of costume in the opening scene showed the audience that the show is based in the past as the clothing used looks outdated. i can see some of the characters were wearing trench coats,sleepless puffer jackets and baggy jeans.

2)in the opening scene the use of the dark gave the audience suspend and keeps them wanting to know more

3)the opening setting suggests to the audience that the  show is a horror/science fiction show which might me interesting to some people

  • Actor placement and movement
the actor placement helped with the pace the clip by ether slowing it down or speeding it up  

the make up used to create the beginning made a mystery/science setting for the rest of the series 

the props used created the setting by adding a theme instead of a empty room
