1) What is the main Arctic Monkeys audience - demographics and psychographics?

-For Arctic monkeys the audience are usually more older as arctic monkeys are an old band formed in 2002 and mainly consist of rock fans.

2) What audience pleasures are offered by the music video for I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor?

-through the video'I bet you look good on the dance floor' some audience pleasures i could see were that there music is very connecting and could make the audience feel more comfortable while listing to them.also them being and young could possibly attract the younger female audience back then.  

-some thing that i can point out is when the camera zooms in and out in the duration in the video it really points out the band members skills and there talent instead of the flashy frames,there zooming in and out of frame put more importance to there skill.

3) Pick out three particular shots, scenes or moments in the video that would particularly appeal to Arctic Monkeys fans. Why did you choose those moments?

-in this picture the sense of friendship and bonds could appeal to the audience with them and there family or friends 

 


-this close up picture of this guy would set a very close theme as he stares back at you while playing.




-this side picture of the band member would make his more attractive as the pose that he is in could be found attractive from the female cadence. 



4) How did fans take a leading role in making Arctic Monkeys famous back in 2005?

-social media was only starting and bring introduced in the early 2000's and the arctic monkeys fans shared the bands music to social media and in doing so created a buzz on the band. 

5) How are fans positioned to respond to the band? What does Arctic Monkeys want fans to think about their video?

-The arctic monkey want to build a Peron relationship with there audience and in doing so giving them a personal identity from the lyrics of the song.

1) How did the Arctic Monkeys first achieve success and build up their fanbase?

-the arctics monkeys first achieved success and built up their fan base in 2006 and build the first fan base with there debut song 'I bet you lock good on the dance floor' and went straight to number 1 selling over 350,000 copies of it in the first week.

2) Why was P2P file sharing and MySpace an unexpected aspect to Arctic Monkeys' early success?

-My space was released in 2003 and was one of the first major social media sites and also was used for bands and artist to gain fans without the need for a record company. 

3) How does the rise of Arctic Monkeys differ from how BLACKPINK were formed and became famous?

-Arctic monkeys rise to fame is different from BLACK PINKS rise to fame as the difference in technology and social media development at the time.for example at the time Arctic monkeys were in the start of the development of social media and it was very limited during its starting stage.compared to Black pink its very different as media is int just one platform but in many other formes e.g=you tube,Instagram,twitter and more.

4) Who is Arctic Monkeys record label and how many copies did they sell of their debut album? Why did they choose an independent record label?

-Arctic Monkeys are an English indie rock band from Sheffield. The lead singer is called Alex Turner. Since forming in 2002, they have released six albums and won seven Brit Awards.sold 350,000 copies on its debut. 

5) Looking at the wider music industry, has the internet been a positive or negative development for record companies and artists? Why?

-In resent times in the development for record companies and artist its been very positive due to the further advancement in social media making it very easy to share your talent and creation to the world through the internet.
